Jang Bahadur Rana, the eldest son of Bal Narasimha Kunwar and Raksha Kumari


 


 Jung Bahadur Rana


 Jung Bahadur Rana Bal Narasimha Kunwar is the eldest son of Raksha Kumari

 His childhood name is Bir Narasimha

He also started the 104-year-old Rana rule in Nepal

He became the Prime Minister of Nepal after the Kot Festival

 As far as the Kot Festival is concerned, Jang Bahadur killed 40 people including Fateh Jung Chautaria and Abhiman Singh Basnet during a rally in Kot to find the killer of Gagan Singh, a confidant of Rani Rajyalakshmi.

  Kotparva Bikram Samvat was celebrated on 2nd September, 1903

 After the Kot Festival, another conspiracy was hatched to assassinate Jung Bahadur Rana

On 12 November 1903, a plot was hatched to assassinate Jung Bahadur again

After Vijay Raj gave the information, Jung Bahadur Rana killed Virdhwaj and others. It was called Bhandarkhal festival.

 Jung Bahadur Rana visited the United Kingdom around Vikram Samvat 1906/1907, when he visited the United Kingdom he made Bam Bahadur Rana the Prime Minister and after his return in 1907, Jung Bahadur ruled till Vikram Samvat 1933.




 Ranoddeep Singh


 Ranoddeep Singh is the brother of Jung Bahadur


· After the death of Jung Bahadur in Rautahat on 31st January 1933, he ruled from 1933 to 1942.


Employee lending has started since the establishment of Tejarath Adda and publication of the calendar.


The 38th year festival was happened on his time phase.


· In the year 2038, Narendra Bikram Shah made a plan to kill Ranoddeep Singh and his brother Dhir Shamsher but the plan failed and Narendra Bikram Shah was kept in Chunar jail.


 In the year 1941, Dhir Shamsher died after getting stuck in a fish thorn.


· Dhir Shamsher was the first person among the Rana to write Shamsher


· Dhir Shamsher had 17 brothers and sons, these brothers made many efforts to bring power in their hands after the death of their father


· And finally in order to bring the rule in their hands Vikram Samvat 1942 they assassinated their own uncle Ranoddeep Singh, and the massacre is also known as the 42nd anniversary, after which 5 out of 17 brothers of Dhir Shamsher became the Prime Minister at different times.


 


Veershamsher





· Birshamsher Babu is the son of Dhir Shamsher who died after getting stuck in a fish thorn


· He ruled as Prime Minister from 1942 to 1958


· Veer Hospital, Red Palace, White Palace, and Clock Tower were built


· Birshamsher was the first Nepali to open an account in a foreign bank, and he was also the first Nepali to drive a car


· Similarly, Jabra i.e. Jang Bahadur Rana was the first to start writing or he is the one who started writing Jabra.




 Dev Shamsher


-Dev Shamsher was the son of Virshamsher Kaila, he was known as the liberal and reformist Rana Prime Minister when he was a little more than others.


· - His brothers were afraid of his working style, did not tolerate his reforms and made various efforts to remove him from power. As a result, Devshamsher remained the Prime Minister for only 114 days.


· The practice of giving public leave on every Ekadashi and other 17 days of office hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. dates back to the time of Dev Shamsher.


Established more than 30 schools and started publishing Gorkhapatra Weekly (from Monday, 24th Baishakh 1958)

 Deva shamsher is also known as Dhankuta Raja because he moved to Dhankuta after his own brothers removed him from the post.


 


Chandra Shamsher


· Chandra Shamsher was the fifth child of Dhir Shamsher


He ruled for almost 29 years from 1958 to 1986 by overthrowing his brother Dev Shamsher. He was smarter than the other brothers.


He is also known as Fiesta Maharaj, Matric Pass and Home Tiger Forest Fox


Chandrashamsher had ended the practice of Sati in Vikram Samvat 1977, declared the end of slavery in Vikram Samvat 1981 and established Tri-Chandra Sainik Hospital in Vikram Samvat 1985.


He divided the Rana into ABC class


Chandrashamsher, who started Khadak Nishan Chhap, was also awarded the degree of Doctor of Civil from Oxford University.


He started power generation in Pharping in Vikram Samvat 1968. He prepared a map of Nepal by conducting a scientific survey with the help of Indian Department.


During his reign, in Vikram Samvat 1977, Subba Krishnalal Adhikari of Kaushal Adda was arrested for writing a book called Maize Farming.


 


Bhimshamsher


Bhimshamsher is the seventh child of Dhir Shamsher. He was the Chief of Army Staff of Nepal for 28 years during the reign of his brother Chandrashamsher.

 He is in the habit of giving half leave on Friday and full leave on Saturday

 Bhim Shamsher had emphasized on the development of cotton farming by waiving customs duty on salt and cotton

During his reign, Library Festival Vikram Samvat 1986/87, Prachanda Gorkha Festival Vikram Samvat 1988, Charkha Festival Vikram Samvat 1987, Vasant Shamsher Festival were held.

  Bhim Shamsher ruled from Vikram Samvat 1986 to Vikram Samvat 1989 for almost two and a half years.


Juddhashamsher


 Vikram Samvat, who ruled for 13 years from 1989 to 2002, is the 15th brother of Dhir Shamsher's 17 nephews.

 The establishment of SLC board, zoo, introduction of paper money and birth and death registration station were established during his time.

 Pensions for civil servants and soldiers, tax exemptions for small-scale home-based industries have also been introduced.

 He is also known as Rajarshi Maharaj as he resigned from his post and engaged in religious activities.

He started his career as a moneylender and started making telephone calls.

 


Padam Shamsher


 When it came to Padam Shamsher, it was the turn of Dhir Shamsher to rule from his sons to his grandsons.

 Padam Shamsher, the seventh child of Dhir Shamsher, was the eldest son of Bhimshamsher.

 He declared himself a servant of the nation

He is also known as the father of the school as he established Padmodaya High School and Kanya Mavi and provided women's education.

 Since the publication of Gorkhapatra three times a week, the Nepal Food Council has been established and the general public has been provided with electricity and radio sets.

 


Mohan Shamsher


· Mohan Shamsher, known as the smartest Chandra Shamsher was the eldest son


The last prime minister of the Rana regime, Mohan Shamsher, was in power from 2005 to 2008


· When Mohan Shamsher was the Prime Minister, the movement for nationalism in Nepal had reached its peak and Mohan Shamsher wanted to suppress the movement of the Nepali people but he could not.


At that time the king of Nepal was Tribhuvan, Tribhuvan is the son of Prithvi Bikram Shah


· King Tribhuvan is also known as the Father of the Nation for his special support to bring democracy in 2007


· King Tribhuvan renounced his sword and took refuge in the Indian Embassy on the 21st of Kartik, 2007 and left for India on the 26th of Kartik, 2007.


· In this way, the last Prime Minister Mohan Shamsher was forced to agree with the democracy-loving people and the king and he resigned on 26 November 2008, thus becoming the last Prime Minister of the Rana regime.
